Qui, la nobile famiglia Brentano costruì diversi edifici fra cui palazzi, la nuova parrocchia di Sant'Abbondio di Mezzegra e una casa che porta inciso sul frontone del camino della cucina la scritta A 17 B 01 R. La storia di Palazzo Rosati inizia qui, con le iniziali e la data del primo proprietario: Andrea Brentano Riati, 1701."*

"In the Tremezzina area, between the twin streams of the Alba and the Polla, just a few hundred metres from the lake, the stone village of Bonzanigo di Mezzegra lies close up against the mountain. Here, the aristocratic Brentano family built several buildings including palaces, the new parish church of Sant'Abbondio di Mezzegra and a house whose kitchen fireplace mantle bears the carved inscription A 17 B 01 R.  Verificata Incredibly beautiful and historic place, my family and I were blown away by how much art and history was in the house. The view was incredible and Claudio and Paola were very kind and helpful. Thank you for having us at such a special home!

 Verificata Thank you so much to Mario and Claudio! Claudio was so responsive and easy to talk to. He was very helpful in getting us checked in and checked out in person in a quick manner while also respecting our privacy. Any questions, Claudio was very responsive and helpful. Above and beyond all that, they were so nice in meeting with our wedding planner and chef for one of the evenings. They opened their home months prior to our arrival to allow them to look at the place so our special evening could be perfect.

 Verificata It is a unique place. If you are looking for an experience go for it. The Palazzo is located in a wonderful place with breathtaking views. We had wonderful breakfasts on the terrace and a lovely dinner. Mario is welcoming and responsive with suggestions for dinner and sightseeing places.

 Verificata Mario’s home was more than a home it’s a museum !!! Claudio was our best friend. Thank you for all of your help with transport to and from. Claudio was there when we arrived with a smile and plenty of information. He showed us around and then texted us about local activities and wonderful restaurants. The icing on the cake was he left us snacks, milk, beer and Prosecco in the refrigerator 😊. The house was truly amazing and beautiful. Pictures just don’t do it justice.
